Thomas Sorenson

My first exposure to social dance were in high school classes offered in swing, polka and square dancing. I the 1980’s I started ballroom dancing but life events caused me to give it up until 2003. That year I began dancing on a regular basis and it became a passion for me. Spending most of my life working in the metal trades, dancing wasn’t a natural thing for me but dance has helped me overcome my shyness and given me the confidence to dance anywhere any time. I understand the frustrations a lot of beginning dancers experience and am very patient in helping students find their own confidence in their ability to dance. All it takes is a desire, and lots of practice.
